Im getting married in April 2015 when is the best time to have my hen night? Or is it a matter preference? & what did you do or are planning to do?

Were getting married 4th April and going to have our hen and stag night/weekend in the February half term as OH (and hopefully I will too by then) works in a school. I don't think I could cope two separate weekends without seeing him so decided on the same weekend (sad lol!) We may have a random night out all togther closer to time, it wouldnt surprise me if his best man (my brother in law) is anything to go by lol xx

One of my BMs picked the date because she has 4 other hen do to attend this year. Its going to be in June (wedding is in October) although a lot/most of the people I wanted to invite have said they're not free that weekend so I'll probably arrange a meal or something about a month before the big day.

Im getting married in july 2015 but having my hen in may and my h2b is having his stag in april we are both having weekends in benidorm and for those who cant make it we will probably be having a meal and a few drink around june time.

I'm getting married in August 2015 and will probably have my hen in May (half term) or end of July when we break up from school, as me, my fiancé and one of my bridesmaids work in schools
I am getting married 29th May 2015...I think my main hen is going to be the first weekend in May (cos then we get an extra day off with the bank holiday) i think my 'local' hen is the weekend before that...i am not organising it, if I was I probably would have done it a week or so earlier for both but thats cos I know how crazy it is going to be for me around that time cos of being out of the country until January 2015...but I am happy that I don't have to do anything so i guess that evens it out! xx

I had my big main hen wkend last wkend (6 weeks before) and having a smaller local one next week (4weeks before). H2B is having his stag 3 weeks before.
I think it all depends on what you would prefer :) xx

Mine are going to be in July (6 weeks and 4 weeks before the wedding). I have no idea what I'm doing though as they are surprises! Xxx

I want to have mine about a month before the wedding. We get married on 25th April 2015. H2B's Sister had hers 2 weeks before the wedding. Her H2B's stag weekend was the weekend before the hen weekend. My Sister's was well over a month before her wedding.
I guess it's all down to preference :o)

It's really up to you. Mine is in Aug 2015 but 2 months before the wedding I am also turning 30 so my Bridesmaids are talking about somehow merging the two to make a big deal out of my Birthday (I don't celebrate my Birthday normally for personal reasons) so I am letting them go with it.
