Hi everyone - I am hoping someone can help me. I am a dress size 22-24 with a 38h bust and I'm really struggling to find underwear to go with my dress. It has a sweetheart neckline so some strapless ones are too high in the middle. I've tried the usual suspects like bravissimo and simply yours/be but they don't offer enough support. I was thinking about a corset but I don't want my boobs squashed in and overflowing if you know what I mean :-). Has anyone else out there found a solution and can point me in the right direction? I'm getting desperate. Thank you

Have you asked your dressmaker? She may be able to sew something into your dress (either bra or corset?) which will help with the slipping in the middle.

Perhaps a made to measure corset, as this should provide the support without making your boobs overflow? Sorry I can't be of much more help than that!

I've thought about getting something made it's just so expensive and I wanted to lose more weight before August but if I am having something made I've only got till June. I am thinking this is the route I will have to take.

At least you will know It is definitely going to fit! Debenhams have some lovely lingerie in, and they have a really good range of bra sizes. Go in and get measured and try some things on, you've got nothing to lose and the shop assistants are usually really lovely and helpful x

Try D'hams and some of the other big department stores; H0u5e of Fr@5er has a good range.

Also get yourself measured; 38 is a small band-size for a size 22-24, unless you're carrying most of your weight in your bust (as an eg my underbust measurement is 28 and I'm a size 8). With strapless bras it is even more important to make sure you're wearing the right size; I thought I was a 34D for ages and was getting really frustrated as none of them fit properly, then I tried a 32DD and 30E and got a great fit. So get measured, or use one of the online measuring guides to make sure you're wearing the correct size :-)

    Hope that helps!
