My sister is organising mine I am going to have 2.

A weekend away with whoever wants to go probably to Newcastle Friday to Sunday. She is going to start organising that soon, although the way my friends are acting just now it will be me her and two other friends.

Then nearer the time we are going to go to a local hotel for a tribute night with a meal and drinks.

My moh started organising it last year as I live in Kent and most of people invited are from Newcastle - I know they're all traveling to me as we're going to brighton. Though I'm not meant to know. Cos it's a long way she wanted to give people time to save and book time of. Though people have started dropping out :-(

I know my BMs have just sent the email to the people interested in going asking for an initial deposit as we're going abroad so they wanted to give people plenty of time to save/ notice etc.

It think it all depends on where you plan on going and how many people you want to invite. X

Good idea, to get a list of people to invite, and where to go etc, im having the BM's over on saturday, think it is something that i should bring up? I know I would want to make a weekend of it, whether it be in the uk or abroad x

My MOH organised both of mine- we did a night away and so that was organised 3 months before so people could save for the activities we were doing (I had no say!) then the second one we pretty much organised about 2 weeks before as it was more low key!

I agree with the other girls, it depends on what you are planning on doing, if it's expensive then I would get people to commit early enough on and pay a deposit so they are then committed- there are always a few dropouts! x
