I want something to represent my granddad at my wedding (his money is paying for my dress :.) ) but would like something to wear or put on my bouquet. Does anyone know what I could use or where to get them from?

The photo frame charms are a great idea!

I carried down the aisle with me my grandmother's rosary which she used every day for many many years before she passed away, that was my way of having her with us on the day, my dad looked after it after we'd reached hubby and the priest. That way I had both my grandmothers there on the day as my mums mum flew all the way from Malaysia for the wedding. I also had a very close family friend there who has always treated my sister and I like her own granddaughters, even at her husbands funeral a month before the wedding her whole family were calling us the surrogate grandchildren lol, so I felt like I had 3 grandmothers there on the day.

If you don't do the photo frame thing, have you got anything small but special you could carry with you and ask a family member to then look after for the rest of the day? My BIL had his grandfather's pocket watch x

This is a beautiful idea, I lost my Mum just over 18 months ago and the thought of planning a wedding without her let alone the actual day just fills me with emotion. My Mum was my best friend and would have been a part of everything. I love the idea of having her close by. It would also be good to have my grandparents on there too. Thanks for sharing the idea missweedles.

That's a lovely idea, both my parents have been gone for years and was wondering how I could incorporate them into my day.
    Thanks :)

    Getting married Sunday 1st May 2016 :)
