Hi ladies. I'm new to this and need some advice. I'm no professional singer but my niece, who has an amazing voice and is semi pro says I'm not as bad as I think. She was originally going to sing my wedding entrance song but isn't particularly comfortable with how low it is in places. I however have a lower range and she can mess around with it to make me sound relatively ok. Do you think it's a bit tacky and presumptuous of me to record the song. It's 'I do' by West life so the words are very meaningfully spoken by me to my fiancé. I think my sister will tell me it's tacky and I shouldn't do it but she's not into anything like that. Any suggestions and advice would be really appreciated.

Its up to yourself there is no harm in recording it and having a listen and see how you feel once you hear it.

It adds a special touch to your day and if its what you want then go for it xx

I think it's a great idea to do this. My only recommendation is that you might want to make record yourself. My reason for this is that if you got a throat infection (heaven forbid!) you may not sound great. If you record it, you have a back up for the big day. :)

If that's what you like then do it, maybe record it first and see how it sounds.

Personally I'd find it a bit cringey but everyone is different x
