Hi, I've got a slight problem. I'm 27 in April this year and my H2B is 22 in June this year. As we dont have a prob with age (and its not that big a gap anyway) thats not the problem. However the problem is my eldest daughter.
Shes 7 years old (not my H2Bs kid) but shes really strange with him. Shes naughty for him to get his attention. she brilliant when they spend time with each other whether its playing on football on the PS2 or going for walks.
But when my H2B was complaining of having a bloated stomach after tea about a week ago he showed me how bloated he was, my daughter couldnt take her eyes off his stomach. Then I found her writing pad last night (she does her spellings in it and left it out) and found that she put "I love Leigh" all over a page.
We joked about it and she got really defensive about it. HELP, My daughter has a crush on my H2B lol

maybe its just a child love ......my daughters love my H2b but not in any "iffy" way it may just be that she has found it difficult to say how she has accepted him

I agree with lalabunni, she has obviously accepted your h2b into her and your lives and may be finding it difficult to understand how she should feel about him. Crushes at this age are harmless but can understand why you may be worried. Maybe have a mother daughter day where you can discuss it with her gently, she is probably embarrased. Does she have a good relationship with her father if you dont mind me asking, she may be looking for a father figure if not and not sure how to be around him as hes not her real father. xx
