Hi, my name is Claire and i got engaged on Christmas eev so am fairly new to this. I was trying to get a rough idea on how much the centre pieces would cost as well as to decorate the venue for the cermony! Am trying to set a budget but have no idea on the prices! My head is going to explode with everything. Any help would be much appreciated.

Congrats!! It depends on if you plan to hire or make yourself? The bay of E is a good place to look.

I've bought confetti and scatter crystals, and there will be balloons on each table. I didn't want too much, and it's cost me about £70 for balloons, and £10 for the crystals/confetti. The Bay and 4m4z0n have been my main source of supplies!

We got.1m tall candelabras decorated with ivy and babys breath from the florists for 35 each. I could have bought them but the tall ones can be 70 each so we decided to save money!

Totally depends on what you're having, eg:

Flowers? If so, real or fake? And what kind? And how big?
Something other than flowers? If so, do you plan to DIY or hire?

    Etc.

We're having very simple flowers. We have 3 round tables, which will have a large fishbowl vase with a posy of roses at £25 each, and then we have 3 long tables which will have 3 small fishbowls filled with hydrangeas at £15 each; so, we're paying £210 total for 6 tables.

I'm having a company on to do mine, her prices are really good. For a 3 small vase, mirror plate and single flower in each one was 12, a larger version 18 or for a gum ball balloon with coloured heart balloon inside was 7. So it all depends on what you want really x

I've got 10 tables using lanterns from 1kea @ £2 each (some I got from a free stuff website) and decorative shells and buttons its cost about £100 and the venue supply tea lights
Depends on what you want I can take most of my decorations home, most of the bridal party have a garden so think they will all get a lantern or two and my mum will make use of the buttons so hopefully one of my many friends getting married in the next year can re use the shells

We are having fishbowls, fortunately our venue are lending us the fishbowls and mirrored plates free of charge. So i've bought aqua crystals (£10) grass bear reeds (£6), foam roses (£30) and waterproof lights (£10). Bay of e are brilliant for things if your creating your own! xx
