Omg where do I begin, we carnt make are minds up on a colour theme but we have found a venue that is perfect for me and my h2b for a ceremony and sit down meal and evening do for an amazing price only going to cost us £1,400:-D We don't want anything big just something small, my dad and his parents are happy with the place but I'm having trouble with the rest of his family, I don't have a mum and they are trying to take over ahhh!

How many people is that for kayley that sounds a good deal!! Well I have most of my planning done as I now only have weeks to go!! Just looking for some ivory fur shrugs,need sons shoes and h2bs shoes,need my dress altering (know I'm leaving that late whoops) and my hair trail then that's it,sit back and wait!! Xx

Oh and don't let anyone sway you on what YOU want! It's yours and h2bs wedding don't let anyone sway your decisions, that's the most important rule of all! I had so many people stick there noses in but glad I stuck to my guns :)xx

Your venue is an amazing price! I think that happens in any wedding someone wants to take over, I made it very clear that we will do what we want, you can suggest but you can't tell me what to do. We so far have our ceremony booked in a registry office where we both grew up. We have a golf course venue booked having about 65 guests for a sit down meal. I have my dress which was a sample :D. My mum is making bridesmaid dresses in either turquoise or blush pink, can't decide as the venue is decorated in royal blue, don't want to over load on the blue haha :/. My auntie is making our invites closer to the time (she does it professionally) and future MIL is helping with flowers and making jewelry . I'm lucky to have a lot of crafty people in my family as I am not crafty at all.

Its for 38 people its a bargain compared to some of the prices we have been quoted and how exciting and to be honest I would leave my dress to be altered till the last minute be the best fit that way. I'm trying to ignore them but they are getting me my h2b has told them to let us make the decisions but its the messages I'm getting at all hours of the day if even turned my phone off today to get some piece lol but I will stay strong like you said its are day not there's x

Wow that's a really good price! My venue was £2000 for 31 day 40 night (having about 45night but not paying lol) so you've done really well there! Where abouts are you from? Awww no you'll have to be firm and say this is what we want so bog off and get your snout out lol. I had a lot of grief from relatives becUse I weren't inviting children only our own! With 31guests I didn't want to use all my numbers on kids especially when we have like 8 nieces and nephews and theirs no child prices! But stuck to it and I'm glad! We are just having my son who's 4and my h2bs 2 daughters from his previous partner there who are 8 and 9, they'll all be the centre of attention and feel like little prince and princesses for the day! Xx

I know Victoria we hopefully will stick to our small budget and end up with some pennies after the wedding haha. Only 5 weeks I bet you are excited! That will fly by.. When is your last fitting for your dress? How are you having your hair? The main thing we had was "Can you invite blah and blah" that's one we had to say no to as we just don't have the budget. Stay strong! Don't let it stress you out try to enjoy the planning :)

Lol could be worse you could have my h2bs cousin telling you that she is going to be your brides maid even though I don't want any and iv heard horror stories about how she ruined her aunts wedding that she was a brides maid for 4 years ago. How about having half and half then of each colour? X

Wow kayley dress is stunning and what a bargain! I wish I wouldve spent more time looking for bargains biggest one I got was my shoes from next I got a £10 off voucher to use online so they cost me £15 instead of £25 lol rubbish! Alex last fitting? I haven't even been for a fitting yet lol bought the dress have it at home in my wardrobe going to try get a morning off work next week to go to seamstress. Left it really late most places wanted 10weeks notice but I wanted to try lose some weight, lost. Bit then put it back on so give up can't wait til day before to see if I lose any so need to just go with it lol. I'm having my hair curly with a waterfall braid and some pearls in it,I think - that's providing it looks nice at trial!
I'm so glad I'm not having bridesmaids I've read some right stories on here about bridesmaids being a pain in bum lol xx

£15 on shoes is a great bargain! I've been looking at wedding shoes recently and as soon as you put a "bridal" in front of shoe the cost is at least £100 Oh right In the pictures it doesn't look like it needs much altering, does the length need altering? I don't think you need to lose any weight the dress looks amazing on you :) That's the same kind of hair style I want, just need to keep growing my hair. My bridesmaid have been great so far but I have one that seems very disinterested but I'm trying not to take it to heart as she is having some boyfriend issues xx

They're from next silver ones think they call them shimmer got a wide fit so they don't cut my feet during course of the day. Yeah it needs altering length it's about 4 inch too long and also the straps (she was stood behind me holding them tight for the pics) the lace straps are too big so need taking in but other than that shape shouldn't need altering because I'm still as chunky as I was lol wanted to lose a bit of muffin top but failed miserably! Bought some maralyn Monroe pants though and they're amazing for sucking everything in so hopefully will look better with the control pants(sexy) lol You have plenty of time though Alex she might change her mind about the pink! Just tell her it's your wedding and if you wanted her dressing as a giant banana she would have to lol My friend jokes all the time telling me she's having me as a palm tree at her wedding like on gypsy weddings programme lol.xx

Victoria ur dress is stunning x I'm not going with tradition with wedding shoes everyone I have spoken to in the families said that they were in agony all day there shoes killed them and spoilt the day and as a chef I spend hours on my feet and now that comfort is the most important thing so I'm going to wear some comfortable sandels x

Control pants are a girls best friend! That doesn't sound like too much needs doing, think you do need to go next week to start it. Yeah I've got loads of time taking my time making decisions, I'm very indecisive (unless its a bargain) and I want to enjoy planning :) I think she would rather be a giant banana than wear pink. I thought those palm tree and pineapple dresses were amazing haha

I chose a plain ivory one first knew I didn't want real flowers as wanted to keep is as a keepsake and I order some off a company they came and iv had them 6months but after I received them I thought oooohh I can make these so I started making them myself, and eventually made some that I'm going to use in ivory and vintage pink. I'll put a link on your wall :) x

I was same with my dress I searched the web for weeks and went to a bridal shop and found that! It's an Augusta Jones dress was supposed to be over £2000 but got it for £500! Absolutely love it, love the fact it's plain too because no one will have seen me in a dress before didn't want ruffles and boobies hanging out everywhere lol xx

Meg your dress is beautiful my h2b sister had a very similar dress for her wedding last year x I didn't want my b**bs hanging out or on show ever, I tried a corsit dress on that everyone insisted would suit me and I hated it I looked awful doesn't help I have a weird shape figure ever I have broad shoulders tiny waist and huge hips and corsets are a deferent no spent hours trying on dresses till I tried the same style on and I loved the style just couldn't afford the dress so tried the bay it gets delivered end of next month can't wait to try it on :-D x
