I have found 'the' dresses I want for my junior bridesmaids but I don't get married until next July should I buy them now but just the next size up or is this too risky????

Kids grow and all at different rates so it's a bit risky. I didn't order our flowers girl dress for our niece until 4 months before the wedding and even then ordered it a size bigger, she grew into it and fitted her perfectly on the day without the need for any alterations.

I have been desperate to buy bm dresses and fg dresses the whole time I've been engaged! It's taken all my might not to order something as I knew It would be a waste due to not guaranteeing their sizes. I'm 6 months away and have just ordered bm dresses and will be buying fg dress next week and I'm getting a dress a couple of inches big to allow for growing room. Kids grow so quickly you may end up with gorgeous dresses not fitting. Hope this helps x

It's very risky I'm afraid.. My 13 year old cousin is size 8 women's clothes, my 10 year old cousin is is 8-9 clothes still.. My friends baby is 1 but is in 18-24 month clothes but H2Bs cousins baby is 1 and is 12-18 months clothes..

Kids are far to hard to buy ahead of time I'm afraid.. My stepson was in 2-3 clothes until he was 4, he is now 7 and in 8-9 clothes.. Xxx

I think you could wait until next easter time lots of shops still get dresses in for easter (so could possibly buy on sale) and now do flower girl dresses
I bought my flower girl dress 3 months before as she's 10 there's just no knowing how much she would grow

Personally I would wait until closer to the time as children can grow at completely different rates. I'm sure you'll find something either exactly the same, similar or even better closer to the time and might even see something on a great deal as well

    Nope don't get them yet
You could end up forking out again for more if they don't fit them
You've got a while till your wedding xx

I normally would agree and say not as kidss grow so fast but I got my fg's dresses as they were no longer going to be stocked so I got the age they will be plus size up but I am also putting money aside just inccasee because even with the two sizes I still feel its a rissk lol kids and growing.
