Just wondering where to go on mini moon in the UK as my passport runs out in march and I don't want to renew it until I get my married name... I know we will be fine flying (if we wanted) to Scotland and NI on our driving licences... But where????? Quite fancy idea of Scotland but dunnnooooooo??? Help! Lol x

Where do you live missweedles? I live in south Yorkshire and was wondering the same thing,don't wanna be driving for hours but want somewhere nice, just 2-3 nights as we are spending wedding night in the hotel we marry in but have a 4year old son and don't want to be too far away he's staying with my parents. I looked at lake district a couple of times but the ones we could afford were old fashioned b&bs,I want a bit of luxury but don't really want to spend more than £100-120 a night. If anyone has any links could they post them on my page get married in 6 weeks lol xx

If you fancy a city break in Scotland, Edinburgh is gorgeous and you can find some really amazing apartments for pretty cheap. Last valentines day, h2b and I rented a huge apartment in the centre of Edinburgh with a jacuzzi and everything. I think in total it came to £170 for three nights. Have you tried the b&b of the air? They have great deals on there. X

Katielea I looked at lodges but non do Sunday check in and we need to check in on Sunday or we lose a day because of holiday days with work etc :( x

Loch Lomond is a beautiful place I'm getting married just outside Loch Lomond,
We go for walks quite a lot around balloch and Loch Lomond it's only 20 minutes away in the car from us x
