H2B has found a wedding ring he looooves and I've also found mine, now I know mine won't go away before we can afford it because it's a very traditional ring but H2Bs could well disappear before we can afford it !! Hmph.. We should really stop looking at the things that we can't afford yet ! Everything but the rings is all payable 6 weeks before the wedding.. Bummer !

Been hoping and hoping for FiL to make a donation but I have now given up all hope of that..

Have any of you guys been in the 'can't afford it yet' situation ? Xxx

I've not had this happen to me so far but if I were to listen to my oh we would have no money to get married at all lol.

Can they not let you pay it in instalments?

Hey Mrs H. Yes, I am in that category most days! Ha!

I am also in the 'keep looking at wedding dresses even though I have one' category too....oooops...

STEP AWAY FROM THE LAPTOP... Its the only way. If you don't know its there, it can't tempt you.

Is your H@B's ring online? Could you arrange something with the comany where you pay a deposit? I done this with a high st jeweller for my wedding band. They are keeping it for 9 months for free (well, this was the arrangement, till I tried it on in my size last week and it doesn't fit against my engagement ring!!!)

Ooo Shelley I might try and see if they except a deposit !!! Great idea !! Sucks about your wedding ring :-(

They do have a payment plan but we can even afford that ATM :-( Plus I don't want to be paying for it 2 years after the wedding if we can help it xxx

I think everything wedding related is in that category lol!! But......... its your wedding day so my theory has been, 'were only doing it once' :) lol

Even though that has meant being skint some months to pay different things off! haha xx

The rings are the only thing that needs paying as soon as we buy them, everything else is 6 weeks before the wedding lol.. We literally do not have the money in any shape or form unfortunately else we'd go for it xxx
