I have been looking at those fingerprint trees as guest books and for £20 you get the print out and some ink. I have looked online at DIY ideas and you can get a free template for the tree so would just have to pay for the printing costs and £2 for some ink. Either way I would still have to buy the frame myself. I was also thinking of making my own wish tree with some fallen branches spray painted white in a vase with stones. These cost about £30 made so will save about £30. Do you think im just making more work for myself? Would you just pay the money?

tbh, i don't think they look THAT hard to do. pennies make pounds, so they say, so id certainly have a crack myself to try and save myself a few quid :)

I'm DIY-ing my fingerprint tree. I fully intended on buying one but as the wedding gets closer I'm starting to realise that £20 - £30 is too much. I just going to buy a cheap clip frame from somewhere, so it'll still be less than a tenner with cost of inks included and I've had a look at the templates online and they look fine to me ;)
