We still have 18 months until the wedding, but my bridesmaids started talking about my hen night the other night.
I have to say I'm very excited, I thought we'd only have a little thing, but they've both agreed they think a weekend would be great (which I'm very happy about, I secretly wanted a weekend but didn't want to say in case people couldn't afford it or have the time for it)
I have no idea what I want other then that and it looks like they may end up planning it and having it all as a surprise for me.
What are your plans for hen and stag nights?

were going to a hotel for a medieval night with disco and court entertainment, we have a super huge room so eeryone will be in there playing games and basically being silly. xx

I think the plan for mine is to do a few things so that is people who aren't me, bridesmaids or my mum only want to come for part of it then they can.
I never thought I'd want a massive deal, but it's the same as the wedding, I never thought I'd spend as much as we are doing-but I don't want any regrets its all once in a lifetime :)
One of my bridesmaids had a lovely night though, we just all went to a hotel and had a cocktail making session and then had DVD's and a chinese buffet in her room (which was HUGE)

I have no idea! I am having two as although my uni friends are travelling to my home town for the wedding they couldn't afford to do it for my hen night too so they are planning one for me aswell as my bridesmaids planning one back home! I have no idea what is being planned though as they are all keeping it from me as a surprise, which to be honest is driving me a bit crazy as I like being organised and in control! Lol but I'm sure whatever both groups have planned I will love! Xx

Well, my fellow August brides already know this, but I am going to Vegas! I get free flights for myself and a companion through work, so me and my MoH will be heading to Vegas on 4th May. We've booked the MGM grand and are going for 4 nights. I am so excited, I want to pee myself! A couple of my colleagues have said they might join us, but will let us know closer to the date :) I will have a small thing back home sooner to our wedding date, I think, so more people can join us.

We are having a burlesque night, a 2 course meal and a show at the casino in Manchester and then on to the birdcage.
I'm going all out with my costume, pink corset, ruffle shorts, stockings and a big old feather bustle. I'm so excited, all the girls are really up for it and we've been discussing corsets for weeks!

Me and a few friends are going to thorpe park on the Friday and then there are around 25 of us going on a pub crawl along the seafront before going clubbing in town (Southend) I can't wait!!! x

I really wanted to go abroad for a weekend for my hen party, was thinking Palma Nova in spain, as its right next door to Magaluf but far enough not to hear all the noise, and is quite cheap for drinks etc once your out there however I feel bad asking people to come away for the weekend as I know it wont be cheap. I have just thought about the idea of going to a Butlins music weekend, which comes in around half the price of going abroad, but I am soo unsure of what to do, my only wish from my hen do was to go somewhere hot :/ x

I'm having 2 as well We are all heading out for a supersonic 90's theme club night with bridesmaids and friends which was my idea and my MOH is organising a champagne afternoon tea so that parents and my junior bridesmaids can attend too

I am having 2 - one in the south where I live with colleagues etc who I cant afford to have at the wedding and/or cant travel that distance during summer holidays- they are organising something for my closest friends at work like a spa session and then all the other 20 or so teachers are meeting for a meal like a mock wedding meal and my H2B is invited.
Up north we are having afternoon tea and spa followed by a meal and cocktail making and we are all staying at my Grandmas bungalow- she has just died so it is empty and it would make me feel close to her as she would love to have seen us all getting merry- we can blast out Mamma Mia and dance around (this is mainly a do with mum/ god mum etc with only 3/4 26 year olds thrown in).

1st one is with all my close friends, my mum and a couple of her friends (to keep her company) were going to london on a friday, having afternoon tea, then going to the ice bar and tiger tiger (where we have a VIP area with drinks and food) then on the saturday we are going to see a show in the afternoon and a nice meal in the evening. Coming home sunday.
2nd one is just locally so that alot more of my friends can come for a meal and then hit the town.
3rd one is just me and my oldest friend (as she cant make the 1st hen :( due to being on hols) but i have no idea whats in store, all i know is its a day and night away!! she's paying and wont tell me anything, not even what to pack!! uh oh lol!!

14 of us are going to Centre Parcs for the weekend for mine and I can't wait!! We are having a girly night in with drinks and nibbles on the Friday. We are doing Go Ape (high ropes course) Saturday day time and a meal out Saturday night. Sunday we are going to their spa for the day and Monday we will have a nice big brekkie before going home! I am not really a party animal so this sort of hen party is perfect for me!

I'm planning on having (at least!) 2, 1 in Northern Ireland (where I grew up, going to all the pub & clubs I did as a teenager & doing the whole drunken partying thing,
Then planning on 1 in the midlands closer to the wedding as a spa day, afternoon tea, something more relaxed & to recuperate front the first one!
May also end up having a night out here too, just because I can! Any excuse! x

There's some great ideas on here girls :) For my hen do I'm having a meal with family and friends and then the younger ones are off into town for drinks :) And then a few days before the wedding we are having a girlie night in mainly so my daughter can be involved in this 1 lol-so they'll b my moh,mum and daughter with a beautician friend pampering us and a chinky :) x

I had a weekend. Started Friday night for a traditional night eating drinking and clubbing in London, night in a nice hotel and then a spa day at the hotel. My guests were given options to come for the whole time and stay in the hotel or just come for either the night out or spa day or both without the hotel. I'm lucky in that were all in and around London so logistically it easy and then no one feels they have to spend more than they want to x

We are going to York for mine, fri-sun ... Travelling down on fri,getting sorted at the hotel(2nights on a b&b basis) then doing Betty's afternoon tea on the fri afternoon and some drinks fri night... Then Saturday we are doing York dungeons, a cocktail masterclass with buffet then a 2 course meal on the evening with some bars then a VIP club area then coming home on the Sunday x

I recently had an AMAZING hen weekend in London! My BM's planned it all perfectly and I feel v lucky :-) We stayed in a self-catering apartment (much cheaper than a hotel!) in Hoxton and did loads of cool stuff including afternoon tea and pampering in a vintage salon on the Saturday, followed by dinner and clubbing in Shoreditch. The highlight for me though was a life drawing class on the Sunday (once we'd killed our hangovers with a massive brunch) in an artist's studio in Hackney Wick, right next to the Olympic stadium. We had a lovely tutor, gorgeous nude male model, and it was just brilliant fun. Plus I got a free bottle of wine, bonus! I would highly recommend the experience, they're called the Hen & Stag Life Drawing Co. xx

A UK one where around 20-24 of us are having a cocktail making session, food and VIP area in a local bar. This one is in March
The main Hen Do I am having, 12 of us are headed to Portugal (Alburfeira) for The Easter Weekend in April, the Friday to the Monday. All Inclusive Apartments to make it cheaper for when we are out there. This is going to be a messy one, we have plans for fancy dress one night but no idea about anything else!
