Hi all, i was wondering if anyone could give me advise on wedding shoes!!

I can hardly find any shoes i like and the ones i do seem to be extremely high!! I was advised when i ordered my dress to not go higher than 4inch heels (i am 5ft 6"); which is fine with me as i dont really do heels and want to be comfy lol!!

Can anyone recommend any style shoes? Im slowly coming round to liking a few styles of slingbacks but am not sure if they look nice?! :-/ And what does everyone prefer, round toe or pointy toe? I am defo not one for open toe so thats one thing i know haha!!

Any help would be fab :) xx

Will be watching this too I sm 5foot 8 and H2b is 6 foot so we are the same height if I wear big heels which I don't want in the photos, so need something mid heeled too.
Not a fan of sling backs and prefer pointy shoes xx

Could you find like a nice open toed court heel? Then it isn't too high and should be comfortable.? x

These are my shoes, the Heel height is 7.7 cm which is approx. 3.3 inches (unsure though) and then once I've found a design I like I will either bling myself or ask a friend to help and these were only £12.99 and really comfy :) x

Maybe wear a pair of ballet shoes? They're flat and they're comfy for you to dance the night away ;) xoxox

I've got a similar problem...I'm 1/2" taller than h2b so only want a 3" heel. I've seen some new ones on the bhs website but they aren't in yet xx

I have gone for wedges rather than a heel. is this an option for you as would give you a little height but you would still feel comfy?

Thanks for all the advice ladies :) i would love to wear a pair of ballet shoes but my H2B is 6ft 3" so i want to add some height to myself lol!! I ordered a pair yesterday and they came today, they are lovely but not sure if there me, am going to keep them to try on with my dress in a couple of weeks and see if they go, They are Rainbow Club Topaz! Really wanted Rainbow club as ive heard so many good things about them. My ideal pair from this make were Daisy Hill but at £225 i couldnt justify spending that much on something that wont be seen!!
