Garlic mushrooms, prawn cocktail, melon, paté, fishcakes, smoked salmon terrine, I guess it depends on what sort of food you guys actually like! Those are some I can think of. xx

Well,as a self confessed fussy eater, I'd say the easiest option is always soup!

What would your h2b have as a starter if you were out?

I know my son loves garlic bread as a starter-you could have it with or without cheese. Melon is another simple one, but depending on what sort of fussy eater your h2b is he might not like either of them.

Soup is another good option.... but personally (now its my turn to be fussy) I don't like that

I would say melon would be the safest option? Something light and tasty! X

We're having a mini three cheese tartlet with salad garnish and brioche and pate with salad garnish and brioche ... Wanted food that was light and that wouldn't fill ppl up x

We have a choice of soups as ours...i'd rather it be pate and another choice but the lady doing our food is only really willing to do a choice of soups or else everyone gets the same..bit frustrating but hey ho, we can put up with that if it means we get our venue....

Anyway..If you fancy something different from the traditional wedding breakfast starter you could go for a single portion of cheesy nachos and dips maybe? Or mini sticky ribs?
Safe options are probably what others have said, melon, pate, prawn cocktail, parma ham...
