Hi all. Getting married in June and though I've tried on loads of rings none of them shout 'me me'!! Just to complicate matters I was married for 16 years so really want something different and maybe more elegant. Also budget really is about £200. I've seen a welsh gold one with detail which I loved but cos it's welsh gold you pay loads more. Any ideas? Xx

Have you thought about getting it made? If you have an idea of what you want you can talk this over and get it made in a metal that fits your budget.

I got mine custom made, it has 3 diamonds and cost 300. Its 18ct white gold. I had got quotes of up to 900 for the same ring from local shops. I got mine online.

Commissioning a bespoke piece can be very competitive with the high street. Our rings including my engagement ring were bespoke and cost no more than the high street and we got something made especially for us.

I think that ours would have cost a heck of a lot more if we'd bought them 'off rack'. The main reason we got them made is because I couldn't actually find a ring to go round my e-ring. When we found out how cheaply it worked out, hubby got his custom made too!
