    Hi all,
I have had a thought for my wedding shoes but I'm worried it'll be too tacky, can you let me know your thoughts?
I am trying to keep to a budget but my shoe are important to me, i want unique shoes with some wow to them. I am the same height as my OH and so need kitten heels/really small heels so I don't tower above him.

    Cue thought..

I get plain white kitten heels, don't have to be expensive ones, and cover them in orange diamantes. I've seen people do it with silver diamantes and it looks good, but will orange ones be stupid?
Please be honest, once it's don't it's done and I don't want to waste time/money.

Does anyone have pics of similar? I can't find any

    Xx

Without seeing a picture it is hard to say.
I think though it would depend on the shade of orange? If it was a bright orange then I may be tempted to just jazz up the front and the back/heel of the shoe but if a pale orange doing the whole shoe could be fine.

    Hehe thanks!
A different shade I think, and not heels nuts flats but yes yes that's the idea! :)
I think I may make matching mini versions for flowergirls (only problem is I can't buy the shoes til a lot closer as their feet will change!!)

I also think it depends on the shade of orange, and id probably only do a little bit of bling to heel and toe. But thats just me. You could always start the heel bit first and see how it looks and decide from there whether you want to do the whole shoe? X

I know a few brides that have gone for colourful shoes. Their dresses have covered the shoes, and they just lifted them for the odd quirky photo. I think it's a good idea, and adds a little personality to your outfit. I'm too boring to have anything other than ivory satin shoes lol

I'm planning on pretty much doing the same but with pink stones on flats or maybe kitten heel, probably not all over though. If I do get heels I'll probably jem up the heel and toe area.

I'll prob just buy some real cheap shoes to practice on first.

Good luck with yours and be sure to update us all with pics x
