ok im going to have to think of something to keep the kids quiet during the service, there will be quite a few kids coming as there is my 2 boys and my MOH's daughter who are playing a part in the wedding then people like my sister who will have to bring her kids so there will be at least 6 kids to entertain ranging from 2-10 years i need the think of things they can do quietly that they wont fight over i was thinking of letting my eldest play onthe ds games console but if i do it would cause fights coz my youngest would want to do it to and would be to young to play, so girls i need your thoughts there will be girls and boys to think about i was thinking maybe a lolly or a few sweets but dont want them to be rustling sweety papers

ive been thinking about this lately too- ive got 7 kids - from newborn to 15 years. (only 3 are mine-lol) the church does have a few toy boxes which are at the back of the church so will prob put them out- and defo a handy supply of lollys and wet wipes-lol. im kinda hoping my mum- in - law will usher them out if they are noisy.but like the vicar says- its our day and the kids are part of our day so if they want to have a cuddle with mum then thats fine!!

babies are easy. i had a funeral to go to when seren was 3 months and she was the quietest one there. not looking forward to the wedding though. i can see me laughing through the vows. she is 6 months now and already has a mischiefous charector. she will be almost 3 at the wedding. my SIL has a son who is 4 weeks younger so that's 2 2-3 year olds. my niece will be 4 and i have two young cousins who will be 5 and 6. and goodness knows which friends/sisters/ sisters-in-law will have babies in the next 27 months. but it's all; part of the fun i guess maybe just let them each bring a favourite toy?!

I went to a wedding on saturday and it was awful - about 20 kids who all made a noise the whole way through the ceremony. I'm dreading having kids at my wedding now

at my sisters wedding we were the only parents that brought toys and our kid was the only quiet one but we didnt have our youngest then and he isnt so easy to entertain, thanks kaz133 will take a look never heard of the party bus, im going to give a few different people the job of keeping the kids in order and if need be take them out as im not having them scream thru the vows maybe i can get them to play sleeping lions thru the ceremony so there all lying on the floor pretending to be asleep? wonder if they could do it that long??
