For all those that are having cars, who are you providing transport for?

My hubby and i just had a general discussion and he wants a limo for his mum, step dad, bros and sister with partner and kids as well as his nan and grandad and uncle. thats a grand total of 15, and its not a prob finding a car because we can get 18 seater limos, but i think its a bit excessive and i would like a car for my family but the cost is just going to mount!
My family is so so so supportive to us and i think it would be a nice treat for them to have a limo, and of course bridesmaids. but now i think it would be too much.

ooooh i dont know should i just accept it and avoid argument with hubby and hubby family?!

I'm have one car. And I've not paid for that as it is a favor from a friend with a nice car. I have hired a routemaster bus for everyone else (£350). This is collecting guests, bridesmaids, friends and family from 2 different hotels, taking them to church and then onto the venue. After that everyone has been given a taxis number :-)
I have read on another post some people are splitting the cost between of the transport between guests! Just another idea xx

wer only having one car ,,glenns brother has hired it as a surprise for the wedding day,but hes taking glenn first then coming for me and my son,my daughter is going with my other bridesmaid,,car hire down here is really expensive so theres no way i could justify spending most of my budget on cars for the WHOLE family,,i think you need to sit him down and explaine that his idea while lovely is a tad excessive

Yep hubby wants a bentley flying spur or rolls royce phantom, which is fine i want something special too.

But 2 18 seater limos is going to be really expensive and 1 for his family and 1 for mine but only problem is my mum and dad dont speak, cos she had an affair and they split up in august 3 days after i gave birth and my mums now engaged to another man. so cant really put the 3 of them in the same car!
this is just another issue im worrying about now that dont need to worry about.
