When we booked the venue they mentioned taking out wedding insurance, has anyone done this?

Yes we took out wedding insurance, it's was just incase. There are so many wedding suppliers out there etc, something could go wrong! x

It's well worth taking it just in case. They won't cover for you changing your mind on anything, but will be useful if any suppliers u go with go out of business and won't offer your money back. For the sake of £50 ish it's worth it x

We have, mine was £57. I went through qu1dc0 and got £15 cash back.
I went for the d3benh4ms cover
Like Kel said for the sake of £50 you'd be daft not to.

Princess pixie, I think you would be better ringing one of the companies and asking as I think if you buy cover online it covers certain aspects but unsure about postponing as with most it doesn't cover change of mind , which is what postponing is, especially if you were to lose deposits by postponing...better to speak to someone who deals with it direct and get the 100% right answer x

Ooh I've not got insurance, is it a bit late now or can I still take it out?

U should be able to still but look at the small print to make sure it covers any deposits you've already paid and make sure there's not a limit as some will only cover say £500 of deposits already paid, definitely still worth a look tho x

princesspixie you need to go with a company that covers armed forces. we went with e and l and it was pretty cheap and covers if he gets posted away etc. also covers military swords etc too if you add that on x
