Hi We are getting married on 1 march 2014 and have had our register interview (eek) and it's made me realise that I have absolutely no clue on the music we want for the ceremony- I've been advised we need 4 pieces of music but my mind has gone completely blank! Can anyone give me any suggestions? Xx

We're getting married at a small hotel by the registrar so we are not allowed any religious songs. I've been racking my brain and I just can't think- mine and my H2Bs music tastes are very different!

Then maybe something traditional or classical? Plenty of stuff that doesn't have religious content or meaning in it.. Or, pick music that has meaning for you and H2B? :) xx

You need something to walk in to that you really love, but that you can walk slowly to. Walking out needs to be something upbeat. The other music is while you're signing the register. Are you having live musicians? If you are they will provide a repertoire list. I'm walking in to Cantique de Jean Racine, and out to the Hallelujah chorus from Handel's Messiah (but you won't be able to use the Hallelujah Chorus as it is religious). The signing of the register will include All I Ask Of You from Phantom of the Opera.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

I'm walking in to Pachelbelles Canon in D, and our exit song is at last by Etta James, we are having a string quartet so they have arranged that piece just for me. You need to find something that you love that can be tweaked into something suitable for your wedding. Luckily for me my string quartet have such a varied repertoire I was spoilt for choice.
I hope you figure something out xx

I'm getting married under palm trees on a beach so it will be very relaxed.
I'm walking down the aisle to 'Lucky Man' by The Verve and our exit music is 'Paradise' by Coldplay :) xx
