Well i have now been Mrs Harvey for over 24 hours and it feels amazing.
Me and the bridesmaids had the best most chilled out morning, no nerves or panic's just pampering and champers which was fantastic. The car picked us up at 1pm and we headed off in glorious sunshine to the venue, i arrived a little early so had to dodge some of the guests who were arriving but that was quite exciting !!
The registrar was fantastic and the venue decorated exactly how we wanted, lots of candles and crystal.
There were a couple of hiccups all caused by the wedding planner who seemed to be having a really bad day - the music was wrong when we set off down the aisle which sent me into an emotional mess, really gutted i got so stressed by that as up until that point i was all smiles, but after one of my bridesmaids sorted her out we headed off with out any more hitches,
The welcome drinks where done on the terrace which although a little chilly was gorgeous as the sun was still shining - after pictures we were welcomed into our reception, however the wedding planner announced us as Mr & Mrs Hill by accident she corrected her self to Harvey but i cant say i was happy at that point. The venue left us a bottle of champagne and paid for our drinks all night as way of apology the wedding planner was mortified even though i tried to re-assure her , these things happen !!
The food was amazing and piping hot, the cake and everything was beautiful and i could not have asked for a better DJ who played everything and anything we wanted.
There are a couple of pictures on my wall and i will share the formal ones when they arrive - but now im off to pack of two weeks in the Dominican Republic - cant wait xx
