Hi Just wondering how your groom is going to stand out from the rest of the men in the wedding party? In ours there is a best man and the dad's and a baby page boy that will all hire suits - just wondering what the groom wore to make his suit a bit more special than the others? Thanks!

My h2b is wearing a bright blue suit. I wish I was joking as well, as it's ruined my colour scheme!
The bridesmaids were gunna be in blue but noooooo he's decided to finally take am interest and now we need to rethink
He will stand out as the rest of the guys wil most likely be in grey....

Dan had a more elborate button hole and a purple waistcoat. The other men had ivory waistcoats.

Mine is wearing a white cravat and white waistcoat and the rest are wearing a silver cravat and silver waistcoat.. We're not sure if he's going to wear a different cravat or not xxx

The suits were having are charcoal, all the fellas are having ivory waistcoats and my h2b is having an ivory ruche and the fellas are having silver/pewter... H2bs buttonhole is bigger and more 'fancy' whereas the fellas are just a simple ivory rose x

Mine had the exact same as everyone else. Did not want him to stand out too much, everyone knew who the groom was! You can either do a different coloured tie or waistcoat.

You could have your man in a different suit jacket. My dad and his best man both wore tails and the ushers and fathers wore a normal jacket. It seems pretty popular these days to have a different coloured tie xx

My H2B will be wearing uniform so that'll be sure to make him stand out lol! I like the idea of having him wear a different colour buttonhole to the best man/ushers or maybe as well a different cravat colour/wasitcoat! :) xx

As others have already said, my other half will wear an ivory patterned waistcoat and red cravat and the best men/my dad will be wearing red patterned waistcoats and ivory ties (possibly the other way round) xxx

My dad, fil, bm and my h2b are all wearing the same but my h2b will have slightly different waistcoat, will all be ivory with a pattern on, but h2b's will have teal in his pattern, bit hard to explain but I loved it and he's happy with it too, he will also have slightly bigger buttonhole although we've not sorted flowers yet! :)

thanks for the replies ladies. Did any of you go with the guys when they went suit shopping? My OH keeps joking he's going to get a cane and a tophat and a monacle.....he's the sort of person that starts off with a joke and then thinks it's a really good idea! i feel i need to supervise this lol

I went with my h2b, 2 reasons... 1. he'd have no clue what to choose, 2. I wanted to make sure it went with our chosen colours :)

The men aren't wearing matching suits at ours; they'll all be in grey suits that they own already. OH will stand out by having a button hole in a different colour and style (probably bigger/more elaborate), and a different tie. I think he's also considered wearing a waistcoat but not sure yet.

Our best man, ushers and Dads are in the same suit and wasitcoat as H2b but will have a different colour tie/cravat. All groomsmen including our Dads will have white ones and H2b will have a purple one.

I went with H2B, told him the decision was his but there were a few coughs coming from my corner lol...
I have the same decision to make - Ive been to a lot of weddings where the groom wore a different colours cravat, or a swirly waistcoat rather than plain etc, and I dont know if I love this idea or hate it lol!
And what makes the best man stand out from other ushers?
At the end of the day everyone at your wedding knows who the groom is (hopefully!) lol so I didnt know if it was worth it? x

They are having different cufflinks, depending on their position. But my oh picked out the suits, I had no input, just said as long as he was happy lol. But they did keep turning to me to ask questions!

Im going with the guys to supervise, make sure they all get fitted properly, they are all having top hats! As Hats are kind of my ohs thing!

my OH will be having a different waistcoat and different coloured cravat and yes I went with my h2b when he was picking the suit (mainly to make sure he stayed within budget!!) now we have put the deposit down we are going to go back with his brother to make sure the colours we've chosen look right and then once I've done that it will all be his responsibility x
