Just wanting to warn people. I just had a phone call from someone saying that I had signed up for a cash draw when I joined UKBride in July 2012, and that that is how they have my details. They said they would enter me into a draw if I answered a survey. What makes me suspicious is that I hadn't joined UKBride in July 2012. I wasn't even engaged until October 2012, and I'm pretty sure that I didn't join the site until January. I refused to do the survey and told them that I didn't think they were genuine, as their info was wrong.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

oh very suspect!! I dont think this is an isolated incident. Did another bride not recently say they had had a phonecall too? Bit worrying that our details such as phone number - which I certainly don't think I entered when I registered on the site.

I can't remember exactly, but I think the lady on the phone first said that she was calling from UKBride, and then said that she had my details from UKBride. I initially thought it might be a supplier that I'd requested a brochure for, then she started talking about a cash prize draw and the alarm bells rang, especially when she said I'd joined UKBride before I was even engaged.

Hi guys Just had a fake phone call but picked up on it straight away, they first said they were calling from a company which I had not heard of, and went on to say they got my number when I registered for UKbride, and then said when you registered with us (as if he was now phoning from ukbride, so he contradicted himself straight away, he was trying to say I had received a free PA service for registering, told him that he had just contradicted himself, that I didn't believe him and was ending the call.
