So my reception marquee is a blank canvas, I can dress it however I like, I am doing mainly all DIY and buying the odd thing which fits my theme, but I'm struggling with how to organise my ideas, i have all these ideas about what I want and where I want it, but I don't want to forget anything, and I feel like my head will explode when I keep trying to visualise it all together, anyone any hints and tips for how to organise my thoughts, I've started a little folder but I feel it's not enough.

Definitely agree with the pin website, it is so helpful with images. Everything else I have on spreadsheets :)

Pin is brilliant. I also have a scrapbook, a different section for each element, cake, dress etc. All the other information guests, venues etc are on spreadsheets.

The planning journals are really helpful with pages for specific things, note pages and plastic pockets. I got one from m&s for £9.50, and it fits in my bag, unlike my scrapbook, so I can just jot ideas down when they come to me x
