Hi all! I was just wondering how many places out there charge a security bond? I know a couple of places but not sure if others are being sneaky by not putting the details in an easy to see place on website! Anyone know from experience who definitely doesn't charge a security bond? Those that do are such a rip off!! Thanks in advance x

The last time h2b rented a suit from a local place the insurance was already calculated in the cost of the suit rental.

Where we have hired our suits from don't charge a security bond, all they ask us that you pay on a debit/credit card. If you tear a seam or loose a button they don't charge you but if there is major damage, for example knees ripped then they just charge the cost price of the repair to the card.

This is from 3est man formal hire, they have shops in sale, Macclesfield and Stockport, not sure if that's any good to you xx

We had a discussion about this a while back as some of us were concerned as places like moss say they need a security deposit of 100 per suit, which no one has , but it turns out they just take your card details so if you don't return them or damage them they charge you x

It should be put into the price of the suit. We paid for ours upfront.

I get to see them in the suits tomorrow ;-) so excited xx

Ooh mrsk2be your wedding is sooo close how exciting!! We went suit shopping Saturday but it was quite expensive! We got the week off so we're going into Cheltenham tomorrow to have a look at suits! I didn't want to waste my time going somewhere that charges a huge extra!! x

We haven't for suits but have had to pay £250 extra for venue for any glass breakages so I guess we won't be getting all that deposit back!
