I think u should do what ever you want, I have really bad teeth 2 and I hate smiling but I wouldn't put veneers on coz that's not who I am, have u thought about all the things that go along with it like, talking, eating and drinking, u don't want them falling out half way through talking so someone or half way trough ur meal. from what I can see they don't look fake so I guess its all dependant on what u want and by the sounds of it u don't want to wear them, don't be persuaded by what people think, go with what feels comfortable to u and sod everyone else xx but saying all this, u do look happier with the veneers it that without but I think u look good either way xx

Im going to be honest but this is only my opinion,

I am a stickler for teeth, I had my H2B have his teeth cleaned and a filling and our marriage is not even until 2015 lol

I think if it bothers you then you'll only be annoyed if you don't use them.

Now with regards to them looking BRAND NEW, I would see if your dentist can take them down a shade or wear them until your married.

i really do hate my teeth i am very lucky to even have what i have left though i have really looked after them but they are beginning to crumble (the gap in the front was just from eating) the dentist said when i was 16 that i would have none left by the time i was 18and im 29 now but that said i truly hate them !! i dont smile if i can help it and really dont want to feel like that on my wedding day but i also dont want people giggling at me! i like them alot but im so used to my own teeth i wondered if thats whats making me panic so just wanted to hear a few opinions as to wether to go for it or not!

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

I think the veneers do look good and not fake!! However maybe you should think what Katiem93 is saying.. And to be honest without the veneers it doesn't look to bad either and don't think anyone will be laughing/giggling at you... You have a nice smile x with or with out x

You look good without them, but your smile is bigger and more natural with them, as your confidence is higher. Perhaps if you wear them all the time from now they'll feel normal by the time of the wedding. When I broke my two front teeth, it was a few weeks before I was able to get them sorted, and I'd almost got used to the gap, so it did feel odd at first, but very quickly it was normal, and now I forget that they're not real.

i hear what your saying and honestly miss deaton im genuinely not a fake person, im not into fake tans or tons of make-up i am who i am im quite lad like and thats never going to change ! i just truly hate my teeth and im well aware it stops me smiling and joining in for fear of what people say or think i remember being in a queue with my little girl and the man behind me said i belong on jeremy kyle with my baby at 15 and my jeremy kyle teeth it hurt so much not that he knew that as i handed him my driving licence and said (at that time) "im 26 and this is sky my daughter" then paid for my shopping and walked away but once inside my car i cried for ages. which is maybe why im hung up a bit on what people will think.

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

i personally would wear them, you have gone to all the trouble of getting them done so it must bother you. and of course they are going to look weird and funny to you for a while its like anything, even a new hairstyle or different lipstick can make you feel like you look odd to start off with cos its new to you. but you should defo break them in, wear them a bit, round the house, pop to tesco whatever so that you feel comfortable in them and you will be fine on the day but if it doesn't feel right then at least you will know before the big day. good luck :) xx

i'm a funny one with teeth as well, your own teeth are not as terrible as you think (from what I can see on the pic) that guy was just being a d!ck and had no right saying what he said, he's lucky cause if that was me he said it too id have sparked him! cheeky b@st@rd!.
I have voted for veneers as I can see from what you are saying (I read before I voted) that that's what you really want, like some of the other's have said, try them out before your big day and only where them if you feel comfortable :) xx

I'd wear them from now to then as much as you can. You're so used to seeing yourself look a certain way that these amazing new teeth will just look odd to you. Give yourself time to get used to them and you'll soon wonder what om earth you were worried about!

I think you should wear them. It's your big day and it's obviously something that you've really wanted to do as you've gone ahead and bought them. I think what the ladies are saying is right - to get used to it and try it out for a while beforehand so it's not such a shock. I think you look lovely in your photo with them, but you should only do what you feel comfortable with. If they get annoying and you take them out on the day, that's fine, because it's your wedding and you should do what you want! :)

Wear them, they dont look fake, youve had them done whichhsuggeets you strongly disliked your own teeth to have a cosmetic enhancement that could bring more damage to your teeth under the aesthetic improvement.

I think you should wear them. They look very natural - just make sure you can eat with them in. I remember when I first got my braces (many moons ago now), it took a while to be able to eat in front of anyone. And you want to be able to eat at your reception. But you've gone to all this trouble to get them, and you don't want to regret it afterwards. But don't stress about it - no one else will notice one way or another on the day.

thank ladies appreciate your comments and in the mean tima have been testing the product and they are really good! they are moulding round my teeth more now and the fit is more comfortable, i can eat drink talk and do all the things you normally do with them in but best of all i can smile! so i ve decided i will wear them on the day it will help boost my ever sagging confidence . Valentina i appreciate what you are saying but just wanted to say i have researched the veneers extensively would love to have had the luxury of a dentist but where i am the nhs doesnt provide many places in the dentist s so although i have been on the waiting list for 6 years i still dont have a dentist and as it cost £45 just for a consultation i knew i couldnt afford my teeth to be properly fixed in time for the wedding but i clean my natural teeth 3 times a day when wearing the veneers and apart from my wedding day do not intend to wear them permanently . i hope one day i will be able to afford them to be fixed properly but i work 14 hours a day as it is i couldnt do much more :/ but lifeis expensive with 3 children and they will always come above everything else. i hope i dont come across as superficial i really am not but just want to smile without worry on my big day its the one day when focus will be on me :/ and i did sacrifice a hen do and new undies to pay the £99 for the veneersso i didnt go over budget lol

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

My SiL2b has veneers, they look totally natural and just like yours!! :)

Like others say, wear them now, keep them all the time. Then H2B will get used to them as the normal you, as will friends and family that you see between now and the day. Then you won't feel like you're a different person.

It would be really sad to get used to your veneers after the day then look back at the picture later and think I wish I'd worn them.

I think the veneers light your face up. It may be more to do with confidence but you look so much happier with the teeth in. I think people may notice you look different but I don't think it is obvious what it is. I think the teeth are more than just a nice smile for you but will give you more confidence. I hate my teeth too so I would say if you can afford it go for it xxx
