I haven't yet decided on table names, and what i'd really like is to do something that we could kind of remember my Mum (who passed away in February) and my fiance's Dad (who passed away 3 weeks ago). But i don't know how to do it or where to even start!
Any suggestions would be MORE than welcome! I know how inovative you all are and have such amazing ideas

Say you have 10 tables, you could have 5 with different pictures of your mum on each with a word under each picture that you think describes her best, and same for the other 5 but obv with pics and words of his dad :-) and then that word would be the name of the table :-) xxx

Good ideas like mentioned important dates or places could be good like naming birth place or fave hol place even if it a hobby eg golf and have table 1 as hole in one .
It also depends on how personal you want it like on your mum side of table names maybe add her fave flowers or flowers from her birth month .
Somehow always connected , finally became friends .

Dec 2011 Got engaged, July 2015 Getting married! Yay!
There's some threads on remembering love ones and a thread on table names. I'll bump them for you.
IMHO table names should be about the couple or related to the theme. Again this is just my opinion but I would be uncomfortable if my table numbers served as a memorial.

How about naming them after their favourite things or significant places like street names of where they grew up, houses lived in, got married, first holiday etc???
