We got married 2 weeks ago yesterday Photographer was fab, nice guy, was there for around 8.5-9hrs and really put us at ease, was chatting with our guests etc
We booked him on a package of edited, copyright free disc of all images plus a 50 image storybook album. We paid a £100 deposit upon booking and the rest in cash on the day
We were overwhelmed to receive our disc 6 days after our wedding! Amazing! We have some lovely images but some I know were taken and not on the disc plus some need a little tweak here or there
Before the disc arrived, I had emailed the photographer to thank him etc and find out next steps, he told us once we have disc, to email him the image numbers of the 50 we would like in the story book and he will get that done and posted to us but there was no rush.
I have emailed him 3 times now since receiving the disc last Friday and have not had one response As time goes on, I am getting more and more worried that he has taken the cash on the day, provided the disc and is now not going to follow through with the album or the extra images I have asked about/need further editing
What would you girls do? Hubby keeps telling me to just leave it a little longer but why would he not be responding when he was before? Surely if he was going away he would of mentioned it as it would of incurred a delay of our story book.
I have the emails from when he quoted us early last year and we had wedding Insurance, just looking for advice as to what you would do. Hoping I am over reacting and there is a reasonable explanation but as the days go on, i'm less and less optimistic

he could have gone away ... or something happened in the family , there could be a thousand logical reasons why he hasn't responded ....

To get anything bsck that quickly! Most take atleast 2/3 weeks to edit them out, some photographers are very picky about picks, msybe once he got them onscreen they were not upto standard and is trying to improve them/clean them up more begore presenting them, and hes prob got other jobs on, so don 't worry too much!
Met June 2009 on my Birthday,Met again July 2009 and got

August 2011 Got our own place, 2011 Had our Baby Girl,
Dec 2011 Got engaged, July 2015 Getting married! Yay!

i would give a few more days to respond back to you hun, something may of happened and may not been able to respond, if not i would take it further, i would react the same thou hun xx

I agree, he may have been very busy this week and who knows, maybe his assistants are on holiday, so hes manning the fort on his own and unable to keep up... maybe hes on holiday... hey i dont even respond to some work emails for a fortnight... i have to prioritise, and for him, a week isnt that long... i think photographers can take ages after the wedding due to editing etc and them out at other weddings.
And we lived happily ever after!

Try not to worry, we didn't get our photos online until 2 weeks after the wedding and then on disc until a few weeks after honeymoon. We are still waiting for our albums but know they're on order.
It's a busy time for photographers as it is the peak wedding season still.
Maybe chase in 2 weeks time if you still haven't heard from him xxx

He has emailed me tonight I am a little disappointed :-( My son (5yrs old) handed the rings over to me & hubby from behind the table with registrar The focus is wrong on these pictures, I guess where the camera was not altered for them and my little man is all blurry I asked if this can be rectified and he has replied sorry but no, nothing he can do about it
There are other things im not 100% happy with but the answers seem to be tough.....too late now & nothing I can do Hmmmmm
Dont get me wrong, we do have good pictures, just a little upset about some important ones........
