I was lying in bed last night not being able to sleep cause it was faaaar to hot ! And I got to thinking about the wedding, what the ceremony room will look like, what the reception room will look like, where I want all the little meaningful bits I've bought placed, the main music we've chosen etc etc etc..... But I was thinking of all this stuff and realised I can sort of imagine it all in its rightful place (hopefully looking amazing), but I cannot for the life of me imagine us actually getting married and it quite upset me ! I can't imagine what waking up in the morning is going to feel like, I can't imagine what getting my hair done, getting my dress on, leaving for the venue is going to feel like... And worst of all, I can't imagine walking into the room to walk down the aisle !! I can't imagine any of the stuff that the day is actually happening for, only imagine the stuff that I'm planning that makes the day 'prettier', I suppose you could say !
Is this a bad sign ??? Or does everyone feel like this ?? Xxx

I definitely don't think this is a bad sign.
You can imagine all the little décor bits because that's something that you know 100% where it will go and how it would look.
But you can't imagine how you will feel or how things will go because it could change and it's based on other peoples actions etc...
Don't beat yourself up - every time I imagine walking down the aisle I laugh my head off. The only time I actually definitely could imagine walking down the aisle was when I had my hair trial done because I could imagine what I would look like.

I can't imagine us getting married either but that's because I currently don't have anything organised. I'm hoping that once I sort out things like the venue, dress etc, I'll be able to picture it in my head.

the closer you get to your day you will start dreaming about these things (and having nightmares!!) trust me. you tend to think of things that you are planning at the moment. as you start thinking more about the day and it gets nearer the time you will be thinking about it. don't worry soon it will be all you can think about lol x

And Becky not looking forward to the nightmares ! I've already dreamt that I woke up on the morning NEXT to H2B and it was 11am but it wasn't really it was 9am or something lol, and my mum was ironing and refused to help me get ready until she'd finished and H2B was just sat eating his breakfast like normal and I was panicking but not as much as you'd think I would be... Was really weird :-/ xxx

ive had some horrible nightmares! we are getting married at 12.00 and I had a dream that step-mom took me shopping and we didn't get back till 2 and didn't get to church until 5pm lol. thank god the nightmares have stopped for a while now! but I know they will come back the closer it gets!! xxx

I think its because the day itself is easy enough to picture, but the future ahead which starts at the vows, is so unpredictable and exciting and unknownl, that its hard to picture from that moment on. The superficial side of the day, the flowers, dress etc, are knowns, so its easy...
I know what you mean though... I don't think its a bad thing at all!
And we lived happily ever after!

I do get butterflies when I here the song I'm walking in to, and for those few seconds I can imagine it I think, but then it just goes again and I can't picture it at all lol.. Xxx

I think that's a good thing, because all the feelings on the day will be new and exciting and you wouldn't want to spoil it by predicting how you would feel :) I can only imagine how it will look like and the planning etc (and panic rises lol) but not how it will feel on the day etc, the only thing I'm sure I'll cry at some point lol xx

I used to try and picture my Wedding day. How the BMs would look, what my husband would say when I walked down the aisle and how I would feel?? It was nothing like it was on the day??
I thought I would be really nervous and burst into tears. I didn't, I was really cool, calm and collected!!!
Your Wedding day is so special so stop second guessing it!!!
