I've come up with an idea for place cards but would like peoples thoughts as to whether it's a good idea or rubbish! I've been searching online and can't find anything similar?

I was thinking instead of the usual name cards to have old photographs of either the groom/bride/both with the guest. I'm wanting a shabby chic/ vintage theme so was thinking of getting photographs printed in black/white or as polaroids (if this is possible?) and placing them in a place card holder (i've found quite a few possibilities for these)?

Yeh i know! could be quite a lot of work finding all these photos! Facebook helps things but it's the older friends and some family that will be hard! Will be nice looking bak through old photo albums though :)
