You only had 5 weeks to go and your groom hadn't ordered his suits??
CommentAuthorVelcro
Oh what, id kick his behind :/ I don't think men realise that its not just a case of going in, trying something on and taking it home.... he probably expects he can pick a suit up off that rack at burton or summat ugh!

if your hiring them they can usually do these fairly quickly so i dont think you need to worry yourself. but theres no harm in telling him to hurry up, it will put your mind at rest x
CommentAuthorWhovianbride
Like becky said if hes hiring i would nit stress yourself out to much about it but make sure he gets it done this week! I mean they have 1 thing!

It's leaving it a bit late we booked ours early July and that's for oct ESP summer weddings they are booked up fast esp for extras like friends/family just nag him or drag him to the shop lol x
CommentAuthorSusie
lol You've just prompted me to ask how my h2b is getting on sourcing a seamstress to sort out his kilt....nothing been done thus far! I Think guys take it easier stressing wise than most of us. Hiring is a lot less hair pulling out than buying one. Glad you are getting him down to the shop to sort it haha
CommentAuthorvicki
We've just booked ours for the 1st November with the exception of our son who we've got to take in the beginning of September as children grow so quickly and that's when our hire company told us they would need to measure him for his kilt, jacket etc
CommentAuthorMrsH-2B
Omg I'd be fuming !! My H2B will be dragged out by the back if his shirt if he hasn't gone by 3.5months before !! He'll be 'asked' to go 4months before :-) he has him and 6 others to get suited !! One being my dad who works in Saudi most of the year do time will be very limited for him .. Xxx
I can't wait to become his Wife :-) <3

I had to make my bloke get his act together too. Most suit hire shops need 5 weeks notice but I'm sure you'll be fine. I am also getting married in 5 week - have a fab day! xx
CommentAuthor*KelBel*
Yeh 5 weeks isn't long especially as its the busiest time for weddings, and especially if they have to transfer a couple of suits from another store x

He should have settled it by now. but there were lots of suit hire available online though so im sure you will be just fine. Don't get so stressed up with it and have a blast on your big day! ^^

I wouldnt panic - we got ours from Debs. Went in for fitting on Sat with my Dad and OH. Both suits were wrong size (which is annoying as they measured them!) but they were really helpful and reordered for delivery tomorrow. We also have 3 chaps who arent arriving in country until Thurs afternoon (wedding is on Fri!!) and the girl in Debs ordered everything in at least 2 more sizes so that they had the choice, we'll take it all away with us. They've got plenty of stock so I wouldnt worry.....! Although a not so gentle prompt probably wouldnt go amiss! x x
CommentAuthorHayley Elizabeth
I wouldn't worry about it too much, the guys on don't tell the bride sort it out in three weeks!! i'd get on him though to get it sorted ASAP if only to ease your worries xxx
CommentAuthorOfficially Mrs M
we struggled with our shirts as they were out of stock on certain sizes as it was there peak period but we got our from a little local place rather than a huge franchise
8th September 2012 I married my best friend

I would be annoyed but it shouldn't be too much of a drama to obtain the required... The department stores and larger loan companies of formal wear will be able to help you out. As mentioned the chaps on DTTB sort it out in less than 3 weeks.. often the week before the wedding. In addition, a guy at work got married 6 weeks after getting engaged and they got everything sorted very easily!
And we lived happily ever after!
CommentAuthorMrsK2b
We done ours about 4 months ago and they are going for a final fitting the Monday before the wedding just to make sure everything fits okay otherwise they will have to ring around to find the right sizes
