I was just thinking.... I know about the traditional thank you gifts that are given to both sets of parents and have an idea in mind of what I want to get them however was also thinking of making them a gift basket for their rooms as a little extra treat, I feel after all the stress that my In-law2b's have been through they deserved something extra on our day, they have had the stress of two of their other children's weddings (been a difficult time for them both in the planning of those) also the stress of my Mil2b getting ill last year with leukemia and his dad being her main carer and now she is in remission she is still having to have regular bone marrow test etc. I really want to show how much we care by adding the extra gift of the basket, and also for my parents for always supporting me and helping what ever way possible with the wedding But I have no clue what to put in these baskets. So if anyone has any suggestions I would be really grateful :) xx

It depends what your budget is but perhaps you could have a main present in your basket for a voucher for an afternoon tea or spa day? So something that both sets of parents could enjoy?
In terms of other things how about ....
mini perfume? mini aftershave? bath candles ... I think you can get some that float in the water? box of chocolates? wine? mini bottles of whiskey/brandy/vodka? dressing gowns?

Ooh thanks hun :) not a massive budget but am willing to put extra aside, with regards to spa day/afternoon tea it would be perfect for the mum's but not the dad's his dad is a non fussy type of guy whom as far as I know only goes fishing lol my dad is slightly easier :)
Small bits sound really good will have a look online now xx

What about a few days/nights away somewhere? They can have really good deals on Gr0up0n for example?
