Lovely little moment with my H2B. He is not romantic in the slightest, and most of the wedding things he takes an interest but just likes what I've done rather than suggesting anything.
I just asked him about the cake, we found one we liked but it had nothing on the top. I asked him what he thought, he said "what's that Christmas flower that you kiss under? Mistletoe". How cute is that!! I'd never have though of putting mistletoe on the top of the cake but its such a lovely idea! Bless him :)

Aww cute, he made my day though by turning up and marrying me lol! But seriously, he went cake happy and chose pretty much the look of the cake apart from me wanting the roses between the tiers and as a topper, the rest was all him! It was such a pleasant surprise to see him so excited about cake even if I did have to remind him there is such a thing called a budget xx

My h2b has pretty much chosen things from ideas I had originally initiated but he has hand carved a quaich which is really special as its part of one of the rituals in our ceremony.
When we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours
we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying
weirdness and call it love, true love.

Mines choosing the cake and has done an amazing thing to put our cards in instead of a post box :-) I like to think he'll think of something romantic to do, like I'm doing a box for him, but I won't hold my breath lol xxx

Oooo is it?! That's good to know! But I was hoping my brother's girlfriend can make some sugar ones instead of flowers, along with some sugar pine cones with edges sprayed gold. She's doing our cake and her sugar flowers are stunning, she is so talented, so I hope she'll be able to do it.

Lucky with our theme is one we both love and ges come up with ideas for centre peices table names etc, and i know hes planning something , some suprise, i have no idea but since our daughters naming day he went off chstting to the guys an i asked him what he was upto an he said just suprise for the wedding! And win't tell me anything else, an i have no idea what!

My husband to be has also planned most of the wedding apart from outfits. He's done all the talking on the phone i haven't done a thing ! i'm a very laid back person so it suits me fine.

I think the most romantic thing my husband did for our wedding was the amazing wedding day present he got me. He made me a photo book of our relationship with photos from our time together and quotes and things x

my h2b has booked the band that was playing on our first date to play at the wedding reception. I just wish he had warned me as now we have to juggle the timings a bit so the band can play then the dj can take over lol.
