Hi! I was just wondering if people will be playing any background music while people are having thier wedding breakfast and if so what is the choice of music?
Thanks!

Hi, we added a space on our invites for people to pick a song they would like to hear at the wedding. We have then added the easy listening tracks to a cd which will be played whilst we eat & should spark conversation around the tables when people hear their choice.
The guests that picked upbeat songs will either be played by the band or dj for the evening reception

Hi, we are going to have some form of music playing just so the room isnt too quiet at times :) I'm not entirely sure what sort though. I like Elle23's idea!! :) that is brilliant, and you'd also get such a wide variety! x

I'm going to have background music. It's all going to be classical music. J.S. Bach is a good place to start, as is Mozart.

We are doing the same, we are having Classical music while we eat, so just listening and noting down our favourites for a relaxed atmosphere and have it playing quietly during the meal :) x
this is one thing ive been thinking about so glad there is a topic for everyone to share their ideas. i wanted to have someone playing a piano whilst we eat, my dad had one for their wedding last year. but thats just more cost involved. thats a good idea elle23 i might have to steal that one x

Not sure but it would be nice to have a little background noise; especially when everyone is eating :)

We're having background music but left it in the hands of the DJ!

We will most probably be having music during the Wedding Breakfast. We will be asking our DJ (friend) to put a playlist on that we will be putting together.

Wr are having chilled Ibiza tracks played, we love the CD and most of them are borderline classical anyway. I went to three weddings in space of three months one year, two played music during the meals one didnt, the music definately added 'something' as the one without seemed quite, ummmmm, awkward at times, not so relaxed. Sorry couldnt find the right words lol!

We had a wedding singer so he sung softly during the meal. It was great because it took a few songs before people realised it wasn't a cd lol. Then towards the end of the meal, he sung more upbeat catchy stuff and we all started singing along :)

we just had a couple of cds of about 50 songs that were played very quietly in the background during the reception drinks and wedding breakfast. All the 'typical' songs like stand by me, everything i do, i dont want to miss a thing etc but also had Jason Mraz, McFly, 1D (yes i know...), Nickelback, Olly Murs, etc.
