Hello ladies, I was hoping for a few ideas. ...

We have a circuis type theme for our save the dates (ticket stubs) and the oh said the other night it would be fun if we had carny games instead of garden games.

It has really planted a seed! Whilst I can think of a few (ring toss, coconut throwing and the big coin drop) it may be quite expensive to make them. Do you ladies have any other ideas, either diy or hiring stuff out??

    Thank you in advance!

Didn't want to read and run but can't really help. Have you tried looking into game hiring companies so you can have a look at what is available and then you can decide what you want. I'm sure if you look around; you can find some to hire for a decent price. :)

Spinning plates are really cheap to come buy for your guests to have a go themselves.

Poi is always a great idea. I do LED Po, but you can get Fire Poi as well.
But you'd have to check with your venue.

I do Trapeze and there's a great company in Bristol i know of that can be hired for events, but again you'd have to check with venue.

Ball balancing, unicycle riding, and there's quite a few budgie training people.

I did know of a massive website full of Entertainers in these ways, can dig it out if you like?

Ive been speaking to a few of the larger companies but to hire one traditional stall would be 350 plus vat and delivery costs! I think it will be a diy job! Cork shoot and whak a rat look easy to make??

why not just get a few props and make carnival type game such as bean bag toss and hoop toss yourselves?
Could get juggling balls, diablos and a few other bits really cheap from a toy shop.....
and maybe have a cape and top hat for men with a whip to be ring master and funny dress up things like bright wigs and lion masks or one of those things you put your face through while someone takes a photo of a lion and ring master :) could be cute and you could make most of it or buy things that dont cost a fortune
