Our wedding is hopefully be white and purple with a kind of princess theme, we have talked a little about flowers and we both feel that it would be nice it have smaller more delicate flowers , we thought gypsophila would make a nice base for the flowers, but think we need something slightly bigger to mix in, hopefully not too big and defiantly no roses , something that isn't too smelly too

The first flower that came to my mind was purple statice - very delicate blooms and no scent.

We're also having purple and white, but going for a Gerbera & White Rose bouquet. Like so:

I know you don't like roses so how about Gerberas, they are quite bulky and sunny flowers i always think!

We are also having a purple and white theme.

the flowers we are having are:
    White roses
    Purple Freesia
Purple lithianthus (can be known as Estonia) ... these are pretty much purple roses.

I'm having some purple agapanthus. Sorry I can't post a picture, but just put agapanthus into google images. The name doesn't sound very pretty, but the flowers come in various shades of purple/blue and are really pretty and delicate. Each stem has lots of little flowers on it.

heliotrope is smaller but comes in white and purple, and beebalm are beautiful but they are pink with purple hinted tips. Also iris may blend well. Hope this was helpful x

Not sure what will be in season in July/August, but I'd agree with Mrs T to Be about lisianthus, they are gorgeous and would look fab with gyp.
