Well, he finally popped the question! The ring is just amazing, exactly tailored to what I always wanted.
The ring is perfect!!! My other half said it was difficult to find the perfect ring because I'm quite a difficult person to please, but that was not the bad thing about it. It was because he had so many to choose from!!
However, he has now a busy schedule so I need to sort out wedding bands, and since we are not planning to do a huge celebration yet, we are planning to at least do a small registry ceremony and exchange vows in December 2013.. Can't wait for dress shopping!
So ladies and gents (if you are on here) ... where do I go to buy good but fair valued wedding bands? I'm based in London so preferably places in London. I've been to Hatton Garden and all the usual high street stores and nothing seems to stand out for me.. HELP!!! I would like to get it sorted now and make sure everything is perfect and not so last minute!!!

I'm not sure about London but have you considered looking in Birmingham in the jew3elley quarter? That's where I'm planning to go as it seems cheaper than high street jewelers and they can also help you design your perfect ring (my engagement ring has a twist in it so I need to have it made to sit flush against the engagement ring).

I'm also newly engaged! I've been engaged for about 4 months and myself & H2B have been looking out for places who do wedding bands. We recently went to a specialist store called Aurus in Farringdon on Clerkenwell Road that does a whole range of wedding bands and engagement rings! Yeah I know what you mean about the high street stores, we were actually going to give up and fly out to HK for our rings. So it is just lucky we did a bit more research on ring specialists in London and to find they are the only store who specialize in just rings!
It just saves all the costs of flying out and because they do such a huge range and styles of metals, well we've already purchased our orders so we're now waiting on the end result!!!

Where abouts in London are you from? My H2B's band comes from a high street shop and it looks amasing, the cheapest we could get it for what he wanted.

Thank you Rennie1989!! Well I live in South London but I'm on the 9-5 in the City - Barbican! But yeah of course I'm up for all suggestions! Hopefully it won't be a drag to find the perfect rings! We're planning our registry around the Christmas period, so I already feel swept off my feet!
