Ok so 9years ago I passed my singing exam, after this I started singing for a band for 2years. I have had various songs recorded but they were never released to the general public.
I have a passion for singing, If I get stressed the only thing that can sort me out is to be able to whack the stereo up full blast, get my mic and amp out and sing my heart out.
I have been looking for a song my bridesmaids & my boys can walk down the aisle to, I found one finally!
I have spent the past 2 days trying to record a cover of it, but all I'm doing is making my throat worse.... I have a cold....
the song is : "marry me" currently performed by "Train" (Link on my wall)... I will be doing a cover of this and playing it to have the wedding party walk in to....

recording... im not that brave infront of his parents who hate me.... they wont know its me if its the recording lol
i havent done karaoke since before my eldest was conceived! (nearly 6yrs) although i do frequently sing in the living room. When h2b is slightly tipsy, a song comes on I like & I naturally start singing, he will always find the cd of my exam peice (Mulan Reflections) and stick it on saying "Thats my girl that is" course by that point, my eyes are closed and ive forgtten people can oth see and hear me, im in my own little world, singing my heart out! The room goes quiet, I open my eyes and realise everyones starring, then i get requests! lol = always when hes had a few! lol

I toyed with this idea until I read somewhere it's believed to be bad luck for a bride to sing at her own wedding LOL (actually the groom too LOL but h2b wouldn't be singing)
I was in a band too all was going well (even an MTV award of sorts under our belt) until 2 of the silly girlies got themselves knocked up LOL

lol no this was my ex's band.... then he kicked me out christmas day and all his mates left him when they asked where i was and he was stupid enough to tell them the truth haha - all cos he wanted some time with them without me around..... so his band was kinda non existant after that.... then i got pregnant and me and h2b been together since lol....
not a huge believer in superstition.... except to throw salt over your left shoulder, rosemary by garden gate, lavender for luck & 7 yellow roses for my great aunt

I have changed the lyrics slightly, as since being taught at college to "make it your own" i have not been able to sing the exact lyrics of most songs or i freestyle in different places. When I'm not full of a cold, & have perfected, I may have to figure out how to stick it on the tube to see what you ladies think....
