What I'm now planning to do, and I'm only a month in front of you, is to buy things weekly My dress is coming next week, though I've had to find the £300, next lot will be invitations (doing it on amazon cos they're nice but cheap!!) then things like confetti & ribbons, candles week after.
If you do it in small affordable bits you don't notice it going out. HTH xxx

But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

We've got about 7 grand to save yet like, half of me is terrified we can't do it, other half just keeps saying things will be fine lol
Don't be scared to ask, end of the day it's money towards your wedding. We bought one of them money tins where the lid will only come off if you use a tin opener, been putting all £1, 50p coins and any spare notes we have in it.
God knows how much we've got in so far

For dresses/suits etc - ask the companies if they let you pay weekly, that way you know it's getting paid off. And tbh you should be able to ask your h2b how much he has saved, but I wouldn't ask his mum. It's something for both of you but as long as you're not asking every other week I can't see him not wanting to tell you xxx

Create a spreadsheet of all your incomings and outgoings so you can work out where you can save. Put aside two lots of savings- emergencies and wedding.

Tash would he not deal with things like this himself you really need to know what each other is saving and what each can afford. Me and H2B do not have joint bank accounts but have opened joint savings and both put in the same amount each month xx

make sure you open a savings account that you can't dip into until a certain date then you won't be tempted to use money for something else if short for food shopping or something x
