im having candelabras for my centre pieces and want fowers to go in the middle which im doing myself.

i really want stargazer lilys, ive found a really big bunch on the bay. really cheap,35 stems @ starting price £35 & £10 postage. these artiifical lilys r normally £5 a stem.

but i wanted real flowers to start wiv but now im thinking it wud be cheap to do fake as i can buy in bits and pieces but i really love real flowers.

is people mixing real and fake? really dont no what to do, what wud u do????

that sounds fab! all of our flower are foam roses and were so much cheaper than real... I think real stargazers would probably cost you a fortune, you can also get real touch lillies on the bay I think and Im sure you can get latex ones xxx

I don't see why you can't mix real and fake, as long as they are good fakes. You could have real foliage then fake flowers maybe?

Will your venue allow you to light the candles in the candelabra? I know venues are stating health and safety or some listed buildings dont allow candles. I think stargazers are very expensive arnt they. Could you get a quote and then see after? Or get a quote from a venue events company it may be cheaper to hire the candelabra and get the company to decorate them? Xx

some place can hire out candles with and led flame that look good. Also you could have freal flowers for the bouquets and use fake for the centreepieces xx

    Fake!

Cheaper, for the sake of a day its not worth it... too many people with hayfever, means absolutely no lily or flower pollen around to stain my dress, can have them prepared in advance at a fixed cost, no seasonal or shortage surprise excess in payments etc... reliable and consistent flowers...

I love lilies but they are really pungent and would be no fun for those with allergies
