I am getting married in september, I ordered my bridesmaid dresses back in January to allow plenty of time for them to arrive, I have since found out the company forever yours are closing but was assured that all orders were being honoured, this was 2 weeks ago when 2 out of my 3 dresses arrived!
I am still short of 1 dress with 11 weeks to go, but keep getting told by my bridal shop that shes confident the dress will come in, however is also advising me to come up with a back up plan!! I feel completely stressed and it feels like a time I should be really excited is being ruined, any advice or help (or a fairy godmother :) would be gratfully received. My mums unhelpful I feel comment was to just tell my friend she cant be bridesmaid anymore!!!

Oh hun thats an awful thing for your mum to suggest ..... do you have a MOH if so could you put her in a different style but same colour dress

Do you knowrhe name of the dress? Try searching bay of e.
Or you could get a custom dress made to match the other bm dresses? All you'd need is a clear picture....if you can find Tanya's thread about she who must not be named, she's just had some customised ones done that look fab.
Do the bridal shop have a timescale when they would expect the next dress in? Xx

11 weeks is still plenty of time if you act now, if you want all the dresses the same I'd do a search on the Internet over the weekend to see if you can find the 3rd dress anywhere if not Monday morning I would go to the shop and get a refund or even go to the shop today, at the end of the day your order is incomplete and then spend this week shopping for new dresses but maybe go somewhere you can take them home the day you buy them.

go back to the bridal store and ask her to call the designers of your dress tofind out when it will arrive. She may be closing but she ordered your gowns and is obligated ot make sure that you recieve them. Tell her you will wait while she makes the call and if they cannot give her date insist that you speak with them. She obviously isn't confdent your dress will appear if she is telling you to have a backup plan...has she only ordered 2 in error rather than 3 and has had to tyr get a rush order on the 3rd and hoping it will be there on time as i know most designers will send the whole order together xx

I agree with Cathryn and also, get your money back if it does not arrive ...or charge her for the dress you had to come up with!
