As my wedding is abroad our wedding party is only small (23 people). Because it means the world to us that our closest friends and family have travelled a long way and spent alot of money to see us get married we really want to treat them!! Can anybody think of any extra special favour ideas? XXX

How much were you thinking to spend per person, max? :) And do you have any particular theme eg 'beach' 'butterflies' 'love' etc?

Lottery ticket each?

I love the lottery ticket idea (especially if they win and share with me!) but I'd like to give them something to keep. I think max about £10 each. My wedding theme is pink and vintage but that gives me no ideas!!! xxx

How about for the ladies a vintage (style) cut glass perfume bottle. If you keep your eye on ebay you can often find quite pretty ones quite cheaply and everyone could have one a bit different. Not sure about something for guys though... I have put a link on your page for an idea of one that is on ebay at the moment.. :)

I have put a couple of links on your wall Abi, wee red glass hearts for the women and silver palm tree glass charms for the men, it ties in with the romantic element of your wedding and the fact that you are marrying abroad. x

Hi, Theres loads of really good favour sites around.
There are personalised candles for the ladies?? Have them any way you want with any colour decoration.
Personalised wedding cups/tankards for the gents?
I bought personalised scrolls from ebay.. lovely message on with you and husbands name along the bottom with the date of your wedding. Ribbon colour of your choice. Roll them up tie with ribbon they look lovely.. £0.99 for 10 £0.61p&p but she combined the postage for me. Lovely idea to go with their other favour maybe?
There's a few to get looking at anyway :) Hope you find something you like.. I'm sure if you see something on these sites if you look on ebay will be alot cheaper aswell :)

We live in Dundee and traditionally Dundee is famous for jute Jam and Journalism, for our wedding we found a local jam and marmalade company who do personalised gift boxes etc with ribbons, heathers and tartans. They are lovely, and we can have our names etc on the labels so they are personalised. We loved the idea that they were local and the money was going to a local company. They said they will try and match the boxes and ribbons to my dress and the kilts etc. Just an idea and they were about £3 each. |Just an idea, and we found them at a farmers market when we weren't looking . Its amazing where you can find nice little gifts. Joanna and Sakib x x x x x x
