If you have good skin at the minute, I wouldn't tinker with it too much.

Best bet would be to go to a beauty counter in a department store and ask there advice re skincare if you have problem areas on your skin.

I don't do too much, I exfoliate, cleansing wipes and moisturising.

    Xx

    Lol

Good skin? Erm its ok I think. I'm so utterly clueless!

I put makeup on no idea if its right.

Luckily my friend is a hairdresser/makeup and is doing it for my wedding as a present. Xx

    Kat,

I started using moisturiser for the 1st time at 26 so im not very girlie either! I would recommend getting a facial once every 4-6 weeks if you can as it really brightens up the skin and makes you look radiant! I would recommend dermal0gica but thats just personal preference! I now cleanse, tone and moisturise at least daily using their products but im sure others are good too.

I have only ever had a few manicures but i would go for something classic if you aren't used to doing all that stuff like a french polish...possibly book for 1/2 days before to avoid chipping...i sometimes get the gel polish which lasts longer than normal polish.

If you are going to do any waxing (especially on the face) I would say do it about a week before so that any redness has well and truly gone...I get my brows threaded thats a good alternative to waxing....

I would also suggest finding someone good to do these things now so that if you like them then you can book them up and if you don't you have plenty of time to find someone better...

Look into the 5:2 diet for weight loss its pretty effective for some people...

I had terrible skin and terrible nails! I went to my doctor and he put me on antibiotics and its cleared my face, shoulders and back up really well. I bought some Sally Henson miracle grow gel and clear nail varnish and been using it a couple of times a week and my nails look great now!

Now I'm thinking of having my legs waxed lol, never been into salons and beats treatments myself so still a bit daunting. Im a size 18 too, down from a 22 on herbalife but its expensive

I'm not a girlie girl either!!!
I knew I wanted my hair down and natural make up.
My MoH did my hair for me and I did my my own make up which looked really lovely.

I was never going to trust someone else to do my make up as I thought they would go ott with it and make me look like a clown!!!

Go for the natural look and something you're comftable with.

As for a beauty regime, I didn't do anything differently??

The glow I had on the day was completely natural!!
Your natural radiance shines thru as you're so in love!!

I'm not really all that girlie.... I moisturise when I remember too and I've recently had a mass break out of spots!!! Drives me crazy! I'm on weight watchers and I've lost 10.5lb in 6 weeks, I've gone from 18-20 back to a 16-18 it's very easy to follow...

I didn't do a lot different for my wedding - I had planned to get my eyebrows shaped but didn't get around to it, so daughter tweezered them into a nicer shape. I also had stick on nails ( real short ) as I wanted them off again afterwards and hate how acrylic nails destroy my own.
Best advice I ever had for my skin - drink water ! plenty of it 2 - 3 litres over the day. It's amazing how great it makes your skin

I don't wear make up unless I'm going out for a night out or an occasion my skin is okish but could be better I'm increasing my water intake and plan on having my makeup done professional for me end the photos I've had a few facials done and I should start using a decent cream as I'm nearly 28 x

I'm not that girly but have booked a package with local beauty salon recommended by sisters and mum. Trying to grow my nails, keep the weight off and not muck about with my skin too much. Not getting a wax as it stands as have an epilator... but that may change!
