    Hi all.
I am not too sure what to do at the moment. we had been thinking we would set the date of 26 or 27th of august 2015 as our wedding date. a local seafront venue is doing a great deal....£1000 all inclusive (that includes 3 course wedding breakfast). That is definately our sort of price/budget but we are struggling to find the £250 deposit. The worry is I want to get it booked before they stop the offer (not sure when that will be), but we don't have the deposit together now as the car died and we had no choice but to replace it meaning we have had to dip into our savings. I now don't know whether to keep the original plans and hope to find the deposit asap or to change altogether and look for a new venue and new date (possibly wait til 2016 to give more saving up time).
I should also add I do like the current venue of choice but I don't love it. We have choosen it purely on price and the things included.
    Help and advice needed.
    Thank you in advance.

You should maybe ask when them when they are stopping the offer. But don't jump in. What's for you won't go past you. I changed my mind about 4 times before we booked our venue. Plus maybe putting it back will give you's the time you's need to save. As even though its only £1000 there's normally hidden charges somewhere along the line that costs more money. Planning your wedding is very stressful so you're best to take your time and think about everything carefully :) x

Like Kirsten said check to see when the offer expires. Definitely see what hidden charges and costs are there and see what the £1,000 REALLY covers.

If the offer is going to expire soon then maybe ask family to pay for the £250 deposit, or part of it, and pay them back. I hate it that venues need such a large deposit, we didn't have £265 for our deposit and I had to ask my granddad for help.

Our deposit was £500 but because we had been debating for about 3 months on a venue we thankfully had the money there. Plus if you don't love the venue then keep shopping around, you might find something you love with better value for money :) x

i personally think i would wait and look at more. you want it to be perfect tbh if you are already struggling for deposits then some saving time may benefit you. You want your venue to be a place you are totally happy with and although 1k all in sounds good as others have mentioned there are other costs that can spiral i.e registra fess ,flowers, minimum spend that type of thing so do research you may find a venue you love that although on paper looks more also includes more so better value for money! Don't rush if you can wait an extra year then do , planning and saving is all part of the wedding experience so if it lasts an extra year even better!!

One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!
