    Hey there
I was wondering if anyone could help me, I am looking for some vintage style bridesmaid dresses. I am on quite a tight budget but please could anyone recommend me some websites or shops around West Sussex?

    Thank you

    Stacey :)

are you much of a dressmaker??? Getting a pattern and making them is a very cost efficient way of doing it. Other than that, here are a lot of vintage shops springing open at the moment, and then of course, 20's era seems to be coming back into fashion again so hit the high street!!

i found my BM dresses on the bay - they are not strictly vintage but vintage 1950's style and very reasonable at £35 each + underskirts, the fit and quality is amazing ! happy hunting xx

I think you need to be more specific regarding "vintage" ....as anything could be described as that ... Do you want 80's big puffy sleeves or 1920's style ....
If you can narrow it down we can be of more help .

You can get old paper patterns on line which would mean that you can get the basic shape then changes things to exactly how you want them

Sorry, I meant 1950's style if possible!! :D No I am no good at dress making I am afraid. I have got my wedding dress but am looking for 1950s style or even 1940's style dresses, possibly in the colour rose :)
