Would just like a bit of advice please.... I always think I get on with my mother in law to be....and it seemed that way anyway... My h2b lives with his mum then stays at mine a few days a week and he's decorating his room at the weekend and has put a lock on his door cos he doesn't want his mum and that going in there moving stuff when he's at mine.... She's had a go at him saying 'don't think you're having women back here!' and then said she was joking, I haven't heard this but h2b told me... I don't understand why she would say something like that?? H2b told me that when he was single about 4 yrs ago when he lived there he took a one night stand back and his mum threw this girl out but I can't understand why she would say that even jokingly when we're engaged,in a trusting relationship!

I hope so! I said to him that it annoyed me a bit...and he's 29 so he is allowed a lock on his door,he doesn't live there for free...just thought it was out of order her saying that! I always trust him but its things like that that could make someone who is not confident wonder what he does when he's not staying here!
