Hi, I'm new to the site and am trying to upload some photos to my wedding page. I'm failing miserably!

    I've read all this:
UPLOAD YOUR PHOTOS IN 4 STEPS...
STEP 1 - COPY YOUR PHOTOS - Drag files from your computer and drop them in the space below! Make sure the files aren't too small. Also ensure that they are Jpegs (ie; .jpg)! Please note you need to follow the following two steps...

STEP 2 - EDIT YOUR PHOTOS - If you want to edit your photos you can. To rotate your photo/s, simply click on the arrows that are faintly displayed either side of your photo, click until the photo is displayed correctly. If you wish to edit your photo/s further click on the faintly displayed paint brush (bottom right of your photo), now you can; Rotate, Crop, Resize, Amend contrast, change to greyscale and even change to sepia. Once you have made your changes, you need to save the photo, to do this click on the little disk image (top left above your photo).

STEP 3 - UPLOAD YOUR PHOTOS - When you are ready to upload your photos to UKbride and (if required) you have edited them then you must click on 'Start Upload'. Our clever system compresses the images on your computer automatically and then uploads them on to UKbride! When you have successfully uploaded the photos you will see a white 'tick mark' in a green circle on the top left of your photo. If you see a yellow triangle then there has been an error, follow the steps again to resolve the problem. If you are still having difficulties view the 'Help' section, or send us an email with the 'Contact Us' link.

STEP 4 - VIEW YOUR PHOTOS - When you have successfully uploaded your photos click on 'My Photo Albums' and then click on View Album. You can also delete the album if you wish. You can upload as many photos as you wish and create as many albums as you wish!

However step 1confuses me which is not a good start. In fact the first instruction: "drop them in the space below" Arrrgggggg what space below, below the instructions in the empty wite area, below the top bit, below where?!?! (yes I'm very blonde) anyways wherever I drop the image it just results in my internet changing off the UKbride site and opening the image on the page instead. It gives me no option to rotate or change the size of it. To get back to UKbride I have to click back on the browser. I've also tried the other uploading option but I have no success with that either, it will not do anything. :(

Can anyone help or is my antique laptop not up to the job of loading pics. :(

    Thank you.

:( I've just re-started and I think the problem is I never get the option to "run" or "save". I can't install the programme (but facebook and photobucket work fine?!). However I've managed to figure out how to add them at a rate of approx 1 ever 5 minutes using the other upload option. I think what I'll do is pop the images on a memory stick and have a go on the PC this evening.

    Thank you all. Xx

then when youve got no more pics to upload, you should be able to edit them...the tabs for that are at the top above the white bit, make sure you have clicked the upload pics button at the bottom of that first.
