Just wanted to know if anyone has tried this, as we're planning on a few trips into sea/pool and swimming with fish we thought we'd get some underwater disposable cameras, so can use them once and then get them developed. So far best I can find is Ebay for about £6 ish per camera or less if i'm buying more than one.
Has anyone tried this on honeymoon and did it come out well? Also has anyone seen any cheaper than this as shops like boots, tesco etc seem a bit steep on price when i've looked
Thanks
Di

i got a fantastic underwater camera case for my disposable camera. i be sure i also put it in a kindle waterproof protector to make sure.
i tested it before we went tho, i put some toilet roll inside is and put it underwater weighed down in the sink for a day and it came out bone dry so i knew it was safe to use

We had one when we went cage diving with Sharks in Cape Town ... pics came out ok (probably will be better if not a fast moving object!) but can't recommend where to get one as we got it there.

I had some disposable underwater cameras when I went to Egypt a few years ago. The pictures are very hit or miss because you can't really see what you are taking a picture of. We got some really good ones but then a lot where we weren't quite sure what we were trying to take a picture of. I got a really cheap digital camera from a catalogue store beginning with A that came with a clip on waterproof case so you could use it underwater. Works fantastic, think it only cost about £20

It depends how many you are thinking of getting on whether it would be cheapest to buy disposables or to buy a digital camera... My OH has a GoPro camera with a waterproof casing that is really good, can do photos and video xx
We had one back in 2008 in the Maldives. The photos came out but nowhere near as bright in colour as it actually was. We invested in a digital underwater camera after that which came in at quite a price but its brilliant to have now - can use it where-ever we are without fear of it getting wet

the disposable ones are sh*t!
I scuba dive and have a cheapish underwater camera but the best thing is to get a housing for your own digital camera

I think disposable cameras are useless all round, waterproof or not. Got some a while back and the films were glued into the cameras for a start (which i got from the bay) so the first photo of every film was ruined anyway, then the rest were really dark, despite there being a flash, the flash didn't work on most of them, so think you're best off with a digital camera and waterproof case xxx
