What are everyone's thoughts about the two outfits?

I know some people can be fussy how they don't want them to match the bridal party.

My MIL2B told me that she'd found a gorgeous outfit recently in purple (my colour scheme) and if I would mind her wearing the similar colours as BMs. I thought nothing of it and told her this was fine. Now, as it is pretty common that the two mums don't wear the same colour, I am wondering if I have said the right thing as I don't want my mum to feel out of place that she doesn't match with the rest of the bridal party, but I know she will want to have a different colour so they don't look too samey samey.

Thoughts? What is everyone elses Mum and MIL2B's colour scheme? xx

I thought it was traditional for mil2b and mother of the bride to both wear something similar to the colour scheme....I don't see a problem with it as long as the dress or outfit they choose is different. X

My Mum and H2B's Mum are wearing completely different colours to my colour scheme!!!

I think it's nice that they'd want to fit in with the colours.
You could always suggest to your Mum to have a lighter/darker shade of purple so she wouldn't feel left out??

    :-)

Yeah, as Rachael suggested hun, you can have a lighter or darker shade of the purple for your mum so she's still in the colour but the outfits won't be the same xxx
